Warranty Inspection

A warranty inspection takes place before your new-home warranty coverage ends. It documents defects that have shown up since you moved in, so you can send a clear, photographed list to your builder while the repairs are still covered.

01

Problems that appear after move-in

A house that has been through its first winter and summer shows things that weren't visible on possession day: settlement cracks, doors that stick, drainage issues, heating that doesn't keep up or a roof detail that lets water in.

02

Book it before the deadline

Check the end date of each part of your warranty and book the inspection with enough time left to send the report and get a response from the builder.

03

A list your builder can work from

Each item comes with a photo and a plain description, which makes it easier for the builder to understand the problem and schedule the repair.
